These are small soft pedunculated growths 3-5 mm in length and 1-3 mm in diameter. They are commonly found around the neck, axilla and groin. They can also occur on the upper and lower eyelid.
Diathermy is a quick and reliable method of removing skin tags. Single or small skin tags are usually removed in one session but if the base of the lesion is >4 mm or there are numerous skin tags then a few sessions may be required.
